Believe it, sister!

So…. with this picture do you feel my pain? Because yes, I am now lugging around a Honeydew Melon. Honeydews are big. Honeydews hate backs and try to destroy them. Third trimester aches and pains have started and I can officially loudly annouce to the world I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS PREGNANCY TO COME TO AN END!!!
It’s complicated because I’m praying for her to stay in as long as possible, but wish I could somehow speed up time and be done with it all!
I can’t wait to see what she’ll look like! We know she’ll have blue eyes – that’s just genetics with two blue eyed people. But I wonder if she’ll have Collin and Drew’s red hair! How much will she look like her brothers or not at all…? Isn’t it so weird how you wonder and wonder during pregnancy and then the SECOND they’re born it’s like you’ve always known! You memorize their little face immediately and the thought of not knowing a few moments before seems so strange. Crazy!
Here’s the info from thebump.com
Baby’s senses are continuing to improve — when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
School
Just a small update in case you’re wondering… I haven’t filled you in on Collin lately! Basically he’s doing great. The school is working with us and we’re all set as far as that goes. There have been moments of inappropriate behavior but everyone is working together, seems to understand him, and not making it an extra big deal about situations. We love his teacher and think she will be a great help to him this year. He’s coming home happy and his behavior has even improved at home since starting school! We’re thinking a set schedule really does help him. He’s already made good friends…. being around other kids so much more has to be a positive thing for such an extroverted boy! So all in all, we’re all very happy how this school year is working out. I think especially Collin!
Weekend Fun
This weekend we went down to Zilker Park to ride the Train and play at the playground. We never got around to the train because by the time it was leaving again it was WAY past Drew’s nap and would’ve bad. Bad for everyone. Just trust me – BAD. (Have I mentioned how that would’ve been bad?)
The temperature was decent, but as I was just standing watching the fun I noticed my sunglasses fogging up from the humidity. I’m still not used to that!
It was a fun little morning!
- Time to Party at Zilker!
- Drew is pointing to the train going by.
- Drew’s favorite thing at playgrounds is the slides.
- ALL the boys loved the playground. ;)

New Love Language
You know, ever since my first year of marriage I have known my love language is “Quality Time”….
…but I do believe Anthropologie has found a second Love Language. Super Cute Boots.
Sadly, I’m 99.99% positive I’ll never have them, maybe never even see them in person, but they still make my heart flutter.
Baby Room
We still have some things to hang here and there, but for the most part it’s really coming together. I will post the other areas later. For now we have:
The artwork above Violet’s bed.
This is Violet’s part of the room. We are waiting for an owl mobile I bought on etsy that is made from vintage French magazines. So cool!
From the doorway. We have plans for the ABC’s to go on the empty wall.
A look inside the crib. I think it looks sweet.
The blocks I made are on the cutest little table I found for only $16 on Amazon!
Drew’s crib with his new artwork.
Blocks I made for Drew with the box my Dad made for him at Christmas.
Newborn diaper, 21 month old diaper.
My favorite outfit so far… it has “little sister” written on the front of the onesie. So sweet!
Look! Pink!!! In a closet AT MY HOUSE! Crazy.
My mom sent Violet her very own first purse. Too cute!
